Nowadays, I’d rather hit the pages of an exciting romance novel than drop it like it’s hot at ‘da club. The only club I want VIP tickets to is Club Cama. Thanks to my buzz from the wine and Happily Ever Afters, I drift off to sleep loving love.
Do you know what else I love? Supporting indie, Latinx romance authors like myself. The publishing world isn’t for the faint of heart. I’d rather faint from exhaustion after writing an exhilarating sex scene than hustle to land a publishing deal. Especially since only 4.6% of books that are traditionally published are by Latinx authors, according to the 2023 Diversity Baseline Survey (DBS) by Lee & Low Books.
